On Saturday 15th September 2018 residents of Hall Green, Guarlford Road and Chance Lane met at 2 pm on the Worcestershire Beacon. They were demonstrating their solidarity in opposing the easement requested across the common at Chance Lane into a field, not designated for development, known as Rose Farm.

The view from the Hills shows the rural area of Malvern that could be spoilt if the Malvern Hills Trust were to allow the residential easement into the field. If you click the photo above you will see the that approving the easement would facilitate a finger of development into much loved open countryside.

Residents were joined by many other local people who wanted to show their support and the Friends of the Commons would like to thank everyone who took part.
